At Hannigan Dental Care we are passionate about offering our patients excellent dental care in a relaxed and welcoming environment. We know traditionally coming to see the dentist has always been perceived as a negative experience, our mission is to dispel that myth.
Everybody is an individual and at Hannigan Dental care we design your care around you.
We strive to give families and young children the best possible experiences so they will develop positive lifelong healthy habits towards their smiles.
We are constantly learning and innovating to create a dental practice which can offer you and your family the best care possible.

After graduation, he remained at the Dental Hospital working as an SHO before completing his Vocational Training with Roddy & Irene Black at Eaglesham Dental Care. In 2011 he joined Greenlaw Dental Care in Paisley, where we worked for 5 years as an Associate. During this time he also attained his MFDS with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and underwent training in the provision of IV sedation. The entrepreneur in him longed to buy his own practice and in 2016 Pearse finally took the leap and purchased Eight Dental in Muirhead with his wife, Hazel.
Pearse became a trainer for newly qualified dentists in 2017 and remains committed to post-graduate education, regularly attending CPD events with the Association of Dental Implantology, Scottish Dental Study Club and the Odontological Society to name but a few. He has also recently completed the Smiletube implant course and is now placing and restoring Implants in-house at Hannigan Dental Care.
He’s gained a lot of new job titles over the past few years but perhaps the biggest to date came in March 2018, when he became a Dad for the first time. Yet despite the demands of all his new roles, he still manages to find a work/life balance, likely made possible by the fact he truly loves what he does.
Hazel graduated from Glasgow University in 2010, receiving the prestigious Dean Webster award for being the number one student in her year. After graduation Hazel has gone on to successfully complete her MFDS with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and also underwent training in the provision of IV sedation.
Prior to owning her own practice Hazel worked in Springburn and Airdrie as a general dental practitioner where she has logged countless hours of IV sedation experience. Hazel has also spent time working in the community dental services and also as an house officer in the maxillofacial unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Hazel particularly enjoys working with anxious or phobic patients and take great pride in watching them grow in confidence as they progress through their treatment plans and have their smiles restored to their former glory.
Outside of work Hazel loves to spent time with her young daughter Ada, travelling and baking (sugar free cakes of course…).
Suzanne graduated from The University of Glasgow, receiving Honours. Throughout university she was dedicated to her studies and joined the Head of College Scholars list in 2017 and 2018. She is currently working to attain her MFDS qualification with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
Suzanne particularly enjoys working with children and anxious patients to help them develop their confidence and trust when attending the dentist. She made the most of her final years of dental school, carrying out both her Elective and Special Study Module in Children’s Dentistry and travelling to Australia where she shadowed specialists in periodontal and endodontic treatments.
Outside of work, Suzanne has recently taken up running and is learning to cook – with variable success! She loves to socialise and travel with her friends, especially if it involves skiing.
Suzanne is looking forward to being part of the team and getting to know the patients here at Hannigan Dental Care.
Michelle started in dentistry as a dental nurse 1996 and qualified in 1998. She studied at Glasgow School of Hygiene at Glasgow Dental Hospital from January 2000 and graduated in Decemeber 2002 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.
Michelle loves nothing more than engaging with patients about their oral health and the overall feeling of wellbeing that a healthy mouth can bring. She love to meet new patients but she especially loves to see returning patients come back and tell her they have been following her advice and see the huge improvements that can happen.
Michelle was married in 2007 and has two daughters Amii and Isla as well as two Yorkshire terriers Hamish and Bonnie. Her spare time is spent with her children and dogs however in the evening when she finally gets time to herself she love to read. She will read anything from crime to a love story. Michelle also loves a good catch up with good friends and keep regular contact with close friends from her school years.
Ashleighanne qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2012 at Coatbridge College and has worked her way up to Senior Dental Nurse. She has since furthered her knowledge and skills by completing a Childsmile course and learning and assisting with Dental Implants. In her free time Ashleighanne enjoys going on days out with her daughter Addison, husband Duncan and dog Maisie and spending time indoors with Addison baking, painting and drawing and watching Disney movies. She also enjoys catching up with friends over a Costa or going on a road trip. When Ashleighanne has some time to relax she enjoys catching up on her favourite programmes Hollyoaks, S.W.A.T, Great British Bake Off and Grey’s Anatomy with a cup of tea. Ashleighanne enjoys more advanced dentistry cases, transforming smiles and implants.
Tamika qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2014 at Coatbridge College. Tamika enjoys spending time with her fiancé Gary and 2 young kids Jace and Bonnie, taking them on days out and big walks with their dogs Ollie and Lloyd. Tamika enjoys trying out new healthy recipes for her family and when she gets the chance heads to the gym. In Tamika’s spare time she enjoys relaxing and catching up on her favourite programme Friends. Tamika enjoys talking with all of our patients and building lasting relationships to make each patient feel relaxed and comfortable in a dental environment.
Pamela qualified as a Dental nurse in 2012 at Coatbridge college, she then went on to develop her skills further and trained in IV sedation at Glasgow Dental Hospital in 2017. Pamela enjoys spending time with her partner Scott and son Charlie, taking Charlie to toddler classes and swimming lessons. Pamela also enjoys going out for meals with friends and family.
When Pamela gets some time to relax she enjoys catching up with some of her favourite tv show, Peaky Blinders and suits. Pamela has a great understanding how anxious patients can be coming to the dentist as she is a nervous patient herself, she loves that becoming a dental nurse helped her get over her fear and that she can be there for her patients with a hand to squeeze to help them get through their treatment.
Victoria is a our very experienced full time dental nurse. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family and cats Oscar and Lola. She has also recently bought her first home so can usually be found in B&Q or with a paint brush in hand. Her favourite part of dental nursing is that every day is different and that she gets to meet so many different people.
